I discovered my passion for coding during high school in Passy,France.

Like many people I started coding with a random course on “OpenClassrooms”. I was coding when I have free time. I have coded in a lot of languages but I have never get deeped in one. I studied 3 years for get my high-school diploma (BAC STI2D). During these 3 years I always wanted to join the 42 school at Paris “Born to code”, so after high school I tried the piscine of 42 during august 2020. It’s a very intensive month 7/7 coding in C 13hours per day. It’s a big test to know if u have the level to get in the school. I failed the test but obviously I didn't lost time.

I learned a lot as a programmer and as human, I tested my limits.

Ok let’s code ! ... Not for the moment, I knew that if I wanted to become a dev I had to draw a specific path and don’t lost myself.

All dev doesnt have diploma and doesnt came from high degree university but at 18 years old I know that I would not be credible without diploma. I started to learn Html & CSS + Sass, I principally did integrations similar to the real world for training these skills, you can take a look in my portfolio.

Date: September to November.

Ok let’s dive into the big Javascript I started to understand how DOM works and how to handle the differents event listeners. I learned how to consume API then handle API responses and then display data that is in format JSON.

During this period I encoutered a lot of problem & error and that improves my skills in Javascript but also as autodidact, more patience, strategy to attack problems.

Date: November to January 4th.

I have finnally mastered Javascript, but for catch a Job I need a framework with my JS. I choose React, the most trending JS framework. Like I said previously, I need a diploma for being more credible and I found O’Clock whose delivering a BAC + 2 equivalence in France (second year university level).

The first part of the formation is to teach you how React works in 1 month, I learned Component Lifecycle, HOC, React State, React Hooks & Redux ! And the second part, also 1 another month, for apply your React skills in real conditions of a business developer. My project was Food Local, check in my portfolio !

O’Clock allow me to pass the certification Opquast that I have succeded “I have Excellent knowledge of maidsweb quality practices andassociated vocabulary. Skills real and appreciable to participate to web projects.”

Time: 2 months.
Date: January 4th to march 5th.
